Samal Resorsts

Well guys to tell you honestly, i havent been to any of Samal's Resorts not until i was 4th year highschool. Hmm. Technically i guess did once, when i was about 5years old or below. My family was always fond of going to the beaches. As far as i can remember our favorite beach resorts were, Sea Gull Beach Resort, Vales Beach Resort, Villa Victoria Beach Resort, and Paradise Island Samal Beach Resort. All of the beach i mentioned are located just around Davao city, except for Paradise Island Samal Beach Resort. The reason our family never got back to Paradise Island because there was a time when we left from Samal Island to Davao. Just about to arrive Davao, we were in the middle of the sea, the boat we rode on just had an engine trouble. I told you i was about 5 years old back then, and i dont remember details on how that happened. All my mother would say is that it was already evening, the waves were too high and we were stranded in the middle of the sea. My mom said it took 30 minutes more to fix the boat in sea.




Well anyways, after that i was able to get back to Samal Resorts when i turned 16 years old. I wasnt going to a beach back then, but i was going to one of Samal's nature parks(let me just call it that way- hehe). To be specific I was going to Hagimit Falls. It is actually located at the far east of Samal Island. To go there you have to ride a jeep or a trisikel to get to Peñaplata. THe ride will take you about 10 minutes if youre riding the jeep, but 15-30 minutes when youre taking the trisikel. So when you get to Peñaplata, you still have to walk about 5-10 minutes just to get to the falls. But mind you guys, it is all worth the effort. The place is so calm, and the only thing you see moving is the falls and the trees. The place seems to be so dark since it is surrounded by gigantic trees all throughout on every side. We actualy stayed there for overnight and men, i tell i never been in a place as dark as that before(woosh-creepy). hehe. So there it is.
